My 2 favorite mini chocolate sets

Both sets are from Re-ment but the one on the right is a secret set. I was told that there's 1 secret set for every 120 sets. So this is suppose to be a really rare item but I actually received this exact set twice (from separate purchases) so I sold the other set. Once in a while I will find collectors who have secret sets to trade so that's one way for me to obtain the secret sets! Depending on the general level of desireableness it's usually 2-4 regular sets for 1 secret set.

More miniatures...

Here's a set of miniature Japanese food on a life-size sushi geta:

The white color version of the Re-ment kitchen sink/stove:

Bought a couple of these at the Container Store ($12.99 each) but I just wonder how many miniatures can fit in these boxes and is it worth the investment? Depending on the series, 1 compartment should be able to hold 1 set and there are 36 compartments = 36 sets per storage box (almost 4 full series). Seems like it will save a lot of space but not my money though because I would need almost 20 of these cases!

Miniature Japanese Food & Wine

I received 2 full boxes of the Japanese Wine III series yesterday. However, when I opened all the sets, I noticed I did not have a full set of 12. For companies like re-ment or megahouse, you will receive the complete collection if you purchase by the full box. I think the maker of this is Kanebo and within the full box there were many duplicates! After I gathered my set, I found out that I'm missing 1 set. I'm not sure if I got ripped off or this is how the company packages their toys. The wine bottles in general are really nice except for the labels, which won't stick well to the bottles! I guess I can go get some craft glue. Eventhough they're made of plastic, they look like frosted & tinted glass.

Elmo & a fraction of my miniature collection!

I like to keep my miniatures in their original boxes but they've been taking too much space! So I dumped all the smaller boxes and placed them into larger ones. Right now it takes up only half of the space it used to but since the collection is constantly growing, I need to find another alternative. As of yesterday, I have roughly 730 sets of minis, which makes me think how many sets my friend owns. She collected them way longer than me and she orders every single release (sometimes she may order 2-4 full sets of the same series)!  Here are 2 pics of Elmo observing a portion of my collection and I will try to get a pic of my full collection soon:

Megahouse Panda Candy Shop Series Nov Release

Megahouse will be introducing another animal shop manager! This time it's a Panda who runs a candy wagon. Both the wagon and panda candy series will be released around November 26 in Asia. So expect them to appear in the US in about 1-6 weeks after the release date. I wonder when they will release the panda figurine.

Megahouse has focused so much on the animal-related miniatures lately and I really want them to focus more on creating parodies of everyday items like the Pierre Herme Sweets series (the release date is Oct 22nd) :

Here's another miniature series that's animal-related. From Kabaya, this is the Sylvanian Families collection and this time it's an animal-shaped bakery series. I think they're suppose to resemble bunnies but they look like bears to me (great for the Megahouse Koguma Bear items)! Nov 20th release. Unlike, Re-ment & Megahouse, the Kabaya boxes will have a number printed on the box that indicates the corresponding set you'll receive (I've made numerous mistakes before because I always assumed that they're mystery boxes like re-ment or megahouse so I just randomly grab the boxes. Right after opening them that's when I noticed the number and I always get the undesirable sets)! Total of 5 sets:
