Meet the Megahouse animal managers!

These are the current Megahouse animal manager figurines. They're squeezable plastic and the body parts are movable. Each box indicates which figurine you'll be getting but is in Japanese!

Elmo & a fraction of my miniature collection!

I like to keep my miniatures in their original boxes but they've been taking too much space! So I dumped all the smaller boxes and placed them into larger ones. Right now it takes up only half of the space it used to but since the collection is constantly growing, I need to find another alternative. As of yesterday, I have roughly 730 sets of minis, which makes me think how many sets my friend owns. She collected them way longer than me and she orders every single release (sometimes she may order 2-4 full sets of the same series)!  Here are 2 pics of Elmo observing a portion of my collection and I will try to get a pic of my full collection soon:

Megahouse Panda Candy Shop Series Nov Release

Megahouse will be introducing another animal shop manager! This time it's a Panda who runs a candy wagon. Both the wagon and panda candy series will be released around November 26 in Asia. So expect them to appear in the US in about 1-6 weeks after the release date. I wonder when they will release the panda figurine.

Megahouse has focused so much on the animal-related miniatures lately and I really want them to focus more on creating parodies of everyday items like the Pierre Herme Sweets series (the release date is Oct 22nd) :

Here's another miniature series that's animal-related. From Kabaya, this is the Sylvanian Families collection and this time it's an animal-shaped bakery series. I think they're suppose to resemble bunnies but they look like bears to me (great for the Megahouse Koguma Bear items)! Nov 20th release. Unlike, Re-ment & Megahouse, the Kabaya boxes will have a number printed on the box that indicates the corresponding set you'll receive (I've made numerous mistakes before because I always assumed that they're mystery boxes like re-ment or megahouse so I just randomly grab the boxes. Right after opening them that's when I noticed the number and I always get the undesirable sets)! Total of 5 sets:
