Fresh Off The Plane: Miniature Chinese BBQ Stand
A friend just came back from Hong Kong and she was able to help me purchase the Mimo miniature Chinese BBQ set. 1 full set includes: 20 sets of food/plates, bbq stand (lights up but I didn't have batteries w/ me), shelving-and-worktop-in-one, foldable table and a drawer. The mini food/accessories are comparable to Re-ment in terms of quality. From the pics, can you tell that the barrel, drawer, shelf and the bbq stand is actually made of cardboard? I thought they were plastic until my boyfriend commented on how cheap the material was. I looked closely and they were just thick cardboard covered with matte paper! I thought, eeew! As I was hanging the bbq items on the rack I was so worried that the bars (I think they're also made of card board) would fall off since they were just slightly embedded into the cardboard stand.
